Nanotubes for electronics

Article Abstract:

Researchers have found that nanotubes can be used effectively in electronics as conductors. The properties were first discovered by researchers in Japan in 1991, and further research has led to applications. Their use in microchips could free up space for other applications in semiconductors.

Carbon nanonets spark new electronics

Article Abstract:

The article investigates the random networks of carbon nanotubes called nanonets, which perform basic electronic functions. These nanonets can be used to make electronic devices such as electronic paper, which is low in cost and flexible in nature.

Single electronics

Article Abstract:

Research indicates that electric currents can be either the continuous flow of a fluid of charge or the motion of individual electrons. The smallest amount of electric charge to sit on a pinhead can be a fraction of an electron's charge.
