Nature'e engineers

Article Abstract:

An overview is presented of the species and life cyle of the earthworm. Canada is home to 25 different species of earthworm. These have been introduced from Europe, with the exception of one species which exist in unglaciated habitat in British Columbia.

A wetland for all seasons: no matter what time of year, Minesing Swamp has something to offer nature lovers

Article Abstract:

Minesing Swamp is located north of Toronto, Ontario, in Canada. The 6,000-hectare wetland, which is covered by the 1996 Ramsar Convention, is a bird and botany heaven for nature lovers.
