An Anglo-French study is conducted on high-tech and mid-tech vs. low-tech firms with regards to technology, culture, and recruitment. The analysis reports suggest that technology in terms of IT is not a competitive advantage for a company and the high, low and mid-tech companies around France and Britain have employees working in intensive technology firms who need a creative and adaptive approach, so that they can cope with the actual business environment demands.

The study also reveals that the systems' begin with corporate strategy, proceed to HR strategy, HR practices, interviewing processes, interim outcomes and end with final outcomes.
