Open sources: Words, circuits and the notation-realization relation in the music of David Tudor

Article Abstract:

David Tudor's technical approach is unique and can be seen as a precursor to the underground noise and avant-rock music that permeates the alternative club scene of recent times. Tudor's 'Web' pieces are used to explore his work, studying his methodology and the possibility of reconstructing his systems.
