Peacekeepers of the immune system

Article Abstract:

The immune system is considered to permit potentially autodestructive T cells for circulating and it also deploys T cells capable of controlling them. Knowledge of the way they are developed and the way they conduct their immunosuppressive activities would play an important role in recruiting them for use against a host of debilitating and even fatal disorders.

Immunity's early-warning system

Article Abstract:

The innate immune system recognizes generic classes of molecules produced by a variety of disease-causing agents, or pathogens and triggers an inflammatory response. This system produces certain signaling proteins called cytokines that not only induce inflammation but also activate the B and T cells that are needed for the adaptive response.
