Play ball: Oriole Park at Camden Yards set to open

Article Abstract:

Oriole Park, the newly constructed baseball stadium in Camden Yards, Baltimore, MD, is the current home of the Baltimore Orioles. The traditional design of the steel and brick structure complements the adjacent Camden Warehouse, an historical landmark. Its underground delivery and loading tunnels relate well with the area's traffic circulation. The sports facility has a seating capacity of 47,000 and its on-site parking facility can accommodate 5,000 vehicles. The stadium is also conveniently situated along the route of the city's light rail system and can be accessed by motorists from I-395.
