Productivity and performance measurement in R&D

Article Abstract:

Benchmarking is manifested as a major and essential factor in the quest for a better research and development management. Measurement, despite the difficulty it poses, is also pointed out as to be essential in the success of research and development strategic planning. The most outstanding method of control is believed to be total productivity, backed by a group of partial yardsticks. Latency and capability are also shown as the strategic connection between performance and productivity.
