Technology development and acquisition strategy

Article Abstract:

A model explains the key determinants of technology development and acquisition modes and theorizes that time pressure and the strategic importance of the technology are the factors that affect technology development and acquisition modes. The model presented incorporates the dynamic nature of competition in research-intensive industries.
