Article Abstract:

There seems to be very little interest in political issues among ordinary Portuguese people, even though the country became a democracy only relatively recently. Some observers believe that a shift away from focusing on ideology could be a positive development, with economic growth possibly becoming more important. Indeed, voter apathy could be an indication that ordinary people now feel more secure and are beginning to be better off in material terms.

Rapid prototyping and tooling for the next millenium

Article Abstract:

The Centre for Rapid Design and Manufacture in Buckinghamshire, England, offers a host of design and fast prototyping services to businesses. A DTM Sinterstation 2000 selective laser sintering device is being installed for use as in rapid tooling. Other services include CNC machining, 3D computer aided design modelling, metal casting and vacuum casting.

Congress tolerated tax evaders by rescinding an effective tax collection program. The program allocated funds for IRS, which in turn vowed to deliver $9 billion in tax revenues or $4.50 for each dollar invested.
