Restaurants and roadways: food for thought

Article Abstract:

Government policy affects the projects and plans of food service industry and surface transportation system. The government has built high quality restaurants to avoid congestion at the mass and private restaurants. The government has started high occupancy diners booths in some larger restaurants to provide efficient use of the restaurant floor space. The government collects gas tax based on the measure of flatulence.

Praying for food

Article Abstract:

Predating on other insects is part of the praying mantis' wayof life. Young mantids include in their meals such insects as aphids and spiders. Bees and grasshoppers are examples of the food preferences of the older mantids.

Beefing up food safety

Article Abstract:

Irradiation has been successful as a technique for destroying harmful bacteria in food products, particularly beef. Scientists and government agencies are pushing for the widespread use of this food safety procedure.
