Revenge of the WIMPS

Article Abstract:

The Italian group of physicists called the DAMA, which is led by Rita Bernabei of the University of Rome claims that they have found the dark matter. Using scintillators, the Italian physicists found static weakly interacting massive particles which they believe compose the dark matter.

Skewing the cosmic bell curve

Article Abstract:

Data from the COBE space probe might refute the inflation model regarding the random distribution of matter in the universe. The inflation model follows the Gaussian distribution of the bell curve. However, COBE data are more consistent with the earlier null results.
