Seawall around statue of liberty repaired

Article Abstract:

A restoration project for replacement, repair, and to clean and remove the eroded concrete blocks from the seawall that surrounds and protects Liberty Island was undertaken by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and ideas relating to design and oversee this project is presented. Granite-faced concrete blocks, inset, were cleaned of debris and grouted back into position.

Article Abstract:

This article discusses the findings of a poll conducted to gather information on the structure, working, and growth aspects of small engineering business firms. Data, culled out from 77 respondents, indicate that companies with 50 or fewer faired better and experienced growth during 1999 and show promise for continuing growth.

Engineering firms predict revenue growth this year

Article Abstract:

The engineering firms are predicting their business to be very good in 2004. The top three strategies that will be undertaken by the engineering firms to boost their revenues are becoming part of a project team, entering a new market and becoming involved in a design/build project.
