Sorption of veterinary pharmaceuticals in soils: a review

Article Abstract:

The physicochemical properties of veterinary pharmaceuticals are compared, and the literature regarding such chemicals is reviewed. The author suggests that hydrophobicity is not the only mechanism involved in veterinary pharmaceutical sorption in soils.

Screening method for nitroaromatic compounds in water based on solid-phase microextraction and infrared spectroscopy

Article Abstract:

Five nitroaromatic compounds including 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene are tested using solid-phase microextraction (SPME) and infrared (IR) spectroscopy. Graphs show the IR spectra and calibration data for different nitroaromatic compounds.
