Shattered glass

Article Abstract:

Investigations in heavy-particle collisions produced matter called a color glass condensate, and the color glass condensate can 'shatter' in a collision that can produce a quark-gluon plasma, a bulk form of quarks and gluons. Many physicists believe that a quark-gluon plasma, could provide clues about the early universe, and this is created in heavy-ion collisions in the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) at the Brookhaven lab.

The Darkening Earth

Article Abstract:

An overview is presented on solar radiation reduction, also known as global dimming. The decline has been measured at a per-decade rate of 2.7% between 1958 and 1992. Key factors causing the reduction are aerosols and air pollution. The decline introduces water balance and energy balance to the global warming phenomenon.
