Article Abstract:

A man describes viewing the Comet Hyakutake the night before its closest approach to the Earth with a number of amateur astronomers atop Mount Tamalpais, just north of San Francisco, CA. Although enveloped in the stench from a latrine that had been knocked over, the group was impressed by the comet.
