Structure and function of photosystems I and II

Article Abstract:

The structure and function of photosystem I (PSI) and photosystem II (PSII) are revealed with the use of techniques such as spectroscopy, molecular genetics and biochemistry. The new structures of PSI and PSII from cyanobacteria, algae, and plants have shed light on the architecture and mechanism of action of these intricate membrane complexes and on the evolutionary forces that shaped oxygenic photosynthesis.

Performance of diaphragm wall constructed using top-down method

Article Abstract:

An assessment is presented on how diaphragm wall bending moments can be calculated from field measurements. Calculation components include 28 day cube strength of concrete used, static modulus of concrete elasticity, and compression and tension reinforcement.

Rhamnogalacturonan II: structure and function of a borate cross-linked cell wall pectic polysaccharide

Article Abstract:

Rhamnogalacturonan II (RG II) is present in the primary walls of angiosperms, gymnosperms, lycophytes, and pteridophytes. RG II is composed of at least 12 different glycosyl residues linked together by more than 20 different glycosidic linkages.
