Testing goodwill: conflict and cooperation in new product development networks

Article Abstract:

The development and management of the internal and external network used for exchange of information between different business functions in terms of individual that offers cost savings and reduce uncertainties associated with new product development are examined. The effective functioning of the overall network is closely allied to established processes within two participating firms.

Relationship-specific antecedents of customer involvement in new product development

Article Abstract:

The influence of relationship management tasks on customer involvement in New Product Development (NPD) is examined by using data from more than 233 supplier-customer relationships. Results shows that five relationship management tasks have a strong impact on customer involvement in NPD.

Beyond Knut Holt's fusion model, balancing market pull and technology push

Knut Holt, the first president of ISPIM, presented his Fusion model in the early 1970s to focus on the debate that whether a firm should rely on market pull or on market push technology. Some insights beyond this early model are summarized.
