The fish and the forest

Article Abstract:

A team of researchers has discovered a new facet of relationship between salmon-catching bears, the streams and the bordering woodlands, which affect ecosystem in the surrounding of the forest. The findings suggest that bears actually fertilize the forests, nourishing them by discarding partially eaten salmon carcasses providing sustenance for an array of animals and plants.
