The limits of reason

Article Abstract:

Kurt Godel demonstrated that mathematics is necessarily incomplete, containing true statements that cannot be formally proved and hence a theory for mathematics is therefore impossible. The results related to omega are grounded in the concept of algorithmic information and Gottfried W. Leibniz had anticipated many of the features of algorithmic information theory more than 300 years ago.

Fishing blues: without limits on industrial-scale catches, marine populations will continue to collapse

Article Abstract:

The article discusses the collapse of the marine populations that include over-fishing and extinction of several species of fish, including bluefin tuna and populations of flatfish. The findings suggest that the biologists should make an early prediction of the decreasing fish populations to overcome the problem.

The limits of quantum computers

Article Abstract:

The article discusses limitations of the quantum computers, which are found to be extremely fast and efficient at solving problems. Despite of being quick with quantum mechanics, these computers are unable to solve certain problems, including the factoring of integers.
