The impact of the web on information and communication modes: The case of corporate environmental disclosure

Article Abstract:

A study conducted focuses on environmental reporting using cost-benefits framework whereby the extent of web-based environmental disclosure and its determinants is assessed and the determinants of print and web based environmental reporting is compared. One of the results show that information costs and a firm's proprietary costs and its level of media exposure are the key determinants of both print and web based environmental disclosure.

The relativity of HR systems: Conceptualizing the impact of desired employee contributions and HR philosophy

Article Abstract:

Behavioral perspectives in strategic human resource management (SHRM) were studied along with its relativity to human resource systems across organizations. The results revealed that the dimensions of employee contributions usually determined, which sets of human resources policies work best with human resources philosophy in companies.
