Article Abstract:

Community volunteer groups have largely been responsible for the rehabilitation of British Columbia's Baynes Sound. Volunteer groups, such as the Project Watershed and Citizens for Action on Recycling and Environment, were able to control the input of sewage waste in Baynes Sound.

A ride along the Red Deep River of Alberta gives travelers a glimpse of a 75-million year old landscape. The Kneehill Creek that is linked to the river is the site where the skull of a dinosaur reportedly 70 million years old was found in 1884.
