Chemical approaches to triggerable lipid vesicles for drug and gene delivery

Article Abstract:

The chemistries that have recently been applied to exploit the pH and redox potential triggers so as to release vesicle contents in the appropriate biological location are discussed. Effective drug delivery requires the precise spatial and temporal delivery of therapeutic agents to the target side.

The virtue of multifunctional triazene linkers in the efficient solid-phase synthesis of hetrocycle libraries

Article Abstract:

The implementation of combinatiorial chemistry into the modern drug discovery process has made the approach to novel diverse hetrocycle libraries an indispensible requirement. The triazenes are concealed diazonium salts and can be used to link functionalized arenes to generate various heterocycles.

Beta-Sultams-mechanism of reactions and use as inhibitors of serine proteases

Article Abstract:

Beta-Sultans are reactive colony analogues of Beta-lactams and have enormous rate enhancements over analogous reactions of sulfonamides. N-Acryl beta-sultans inactivate serine enzymes such as lactase and beta-lantanas by sulfonylation of the active site serine.
