Article Abstract:
The best way for energy savings in wastewater-treatment plant operations is the elimination of overdesign during the planning of a new plant or through retrofitting an existing plant. Every running waste-water plant should perform an energy audit and the results predicted by audit report for reductions in energy consumption should be implemented. One suggestions involves evaluating the electric utility billing schedule to find alternative schedules with lower energy cost.

Auxin Transport: Down and Out and Up Again
Article Abstract:
The research data from the study on auxins which cause tropism or asymmetrical growth in plants after exposure to gravity and/or light is presented. The way auxins work in tissues of plants are detailed along with the molecular means that cells establish and maintain gradients. The process in which auxins transport and enter cells are noted.

A multifractal walk down Wall Street
Article Abstract:
The sudden changes in stock prices cannot be adequately explained by modern portfolio theory which assumes a normal distribution curve and provides no connection between past and present prices. Multifractals, which are derived from fractal geometry, can better represent these sudden shifts.
