Article Abstract:

Biosys has developed a new biological pesticide that solves the scale up and breeding problems associated with similar products. The Steinernema nemotod tracks a soil-borne insects by its carbon dioxide trail. It then enters the insect, causing a lethal infection, and reproduces in the insect's remains.

Demonic toxin

Article Abstract:

Shellfish in the Western States carry a toxin called domoic acid that kills nerve cells in humans who ingest infected shellfish. Shellfish in the region will be tested for domoic acid to prevent human injury or death.
