V-shaped extension soars through and over Dresden Military Museum

Article Abstract:

A V-shaped extension of the Militarhistoriche Museum der Bundeswehr in Dresden is being constructed to reorient the German armed forces museum to place a traditional, chronological display of military equipment and depiction of events that will focus on the human side of its literature on the history of organized violence. Details on the design and construction of the museum are discussed.

Cable-supported glass wall highlights Loyola's 'Green' library annex

Article Abstract:

The innovative design of the library annex of the Lake Shore Campus of the Loyola University in Chicago is described. The design of a cable-supported external glass wall in front of the point-supported internal glass wall of the building is discussed.
