Wyoming to be home of National Carbon Sequestration Center

Article Abstract:

A study was conducted in Wyoming to eradicate the problem of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and to reverse atmospheric deterioration for a possible solution. After the studies and design are completed, the second stage, which will commence in 2005 will comprise of truck-delivered CO2 being used to carry out engineering experiments in the field.

New well field augments Omaha's drinking water supply

Article Abstract:

The water problems in the city of Omaha, Nebraska and the remedies to solve the problem are discussed. Metropolitan Utilities District (MUD), the group that overseas the area's utility needs, is designing a $300 million Platte West Water Project that would draw portable water well field and be one of the largest projects in the United States.

Structures: Ground broken on Chicago Convention Center expansion

Article Abstract:

The largest convention center in the U.S., the McCormick Place, will expand for the third time since 1986. The expansion area will include an exhibition hall, a ballroom and several smaller meeting rooms.
