End-of-Life care in assisted living and related residential care settings: comparison with nursing homes

Article Abstract:

A study is conducted to compare the Residential Care/Assisted Living facilities (RC/AL) with Nursing Homes (NHs), and also to define the current state of end-of-life care in these two types of care settings. The results suggest that the end-of-life care in RC/AL appears similar in process and outcomes to that provided in NHs.
