Physician-patient congruence regarding medication regimens
Article Abstract:
Research reveals a significant disparity between physicians and their patients regarding medication regimens. Findings show that only 14% of physician-patient pairs were in complete congruence regarding medication regimens, while 74% involved medications that either the physician believed to be a part of the patient's regimen, or that the physician did not realize the patient was taking.

The effects of patient communication skills training on the discourse of older patients during a primary care interview
Article Abstract:
Research indicates that patient training in communication skills is an effective tool for increasing patients' participation in medical interviewing, and did not result in an increase in the interview's overall length. Data were obtained from 33 patients with an average age of 72 and nine primary care physicians.
