Interpreting spatial economic structure: feedback loops in the Indonesian interregional economy, 1980, 1985

Article Abstract:

A substitute approach to study the essence of interregional economic framework that has inclined to bolster the dominant role that Java and Sumatera perform in Indonesia's economy is presented. Feedback loop analysis is applied to a set of interregional input-ouput tables for 1980 and 1985. Crucial changes in the circulation of flows during 1980 and 1985 were discovered. Intraregional flows increased more swiftly than interregional flows particularly in Java and Sumatera.

Central city infrastructure investment and suburban house values

Article Abstract:

The study of several current issues concerning central city infrastructure investment and suburban house values indicate that bigger public capital stocks yield favorable effects on suburban land values. Research also suggests a partially lower impact in places with commuter taxes. The outcome conveys that commuter taxes assists in internalizing intrametropolitan infrastructure spillovers.
