Brothers and sisters of lesbians, gay men, and bisexuals as a demographic comparison group: an innovative research methodology to examine social change

Article Abstract:

A study on the social issues across sexual orientations shows that bisexual women are more comparable demographically to lesbians, whereas bisexual men are more similar to heterosexual men. Lesbians are highly educated and less religious whereas heterosexual women are more concerned in terms of marriage, children, religion and homemaker status.

Repairing ERP: Producing social order to create a working information system

Article Abstract:

A study is conducted to focus on how to make troubled enterprise resource planning (ERP) project work. The important thing appears to be coordinating action that will allow goal to be achieved, even if this involves compromise that depends on reciprocity to produce order and does not expect a shared aim as long as a solution can be negotiated.

Social entrepreneurship and societal transformation: an exploratory study

Article Abstract:

A comparative analysis of seven cases of social entrepreneurship that are widely recognized as successful is presented. The factors associated with successful social entrepreneurship that leads to significant changes in the social, political and economic contexts for poor and marginalized groups are discussed.
