Cambios: A Spanish-language approach to youth development

Article Abstract:

The national Teen Outreach Project (TOP) was adapted into a Spanish-language program called Cambios which enables 12-16 year old Latinos in California to learn about issues of intimacy in their native language. The aim is to reduce teen pregnancy and school failure rates. The program provides Latino families to focus on the positive aspects of their lives giving support to newcomers, and building on young people's strengths.
