Aromatherapy

Article Abstract:

A clinical trial of the benefit of aromatherapy has indicated choice of oil is significant. Blind trials involved the use of Lavandula angustifolia and Lavandula burnatii on 28 post-cardiotomy patients over two days. The different effect of the oils disproves the suggestion that massage is the significant factor in aromatherapy. Lavendula burnatii was almost twice as effective in reducing anxiety. The trial suggests careful choice of essential oils is necessary for maximum therapeutic benefit.

Healthtrust-The Hospital Co

Article Abstract:

Healthtrust Incorporated-The Hospital Co operates 84 acute care hospitals. Insider selling was observed in Jun 1992 but the volume of sales doubled after Bill Clinton's election chances became apparent. Insiders disposed of more than 600,000 shares between Jun and Oct 1992. Then, 10 insiders also cleared out 848,858 shares in Nov and Dec 1992 at the $15.63 to $1.88 range. The amount of selling deserves some caution despite the taxation factor.

Dance with the one that brung ya

Article Abstract:

President Clinton did not really get the voters' message from the 1994 fall election. He is not listening to traditional Democratic voters. Clinton should oppose racist measures such as California's Proposition 187 and unnecessary crime bills, but support programs for minorities, low-cost housing, halfway houses for the mentally handicapped, and human rights policies established by Pres Carter.
