"Don't touch that dial!" TV as a - what!? - positive influence

Article Abstract:

Issues are presented concerning the influence which the television exerts on the attitudes and thinking of its viewers. The short periods of time which teenagers spend with their parents are contrasted with the long periods spent watching television.
