The global climate problems and decreasing fossil fuels are forcing the energy sector to look for renewable-based systems and innovations in energy production technologies. The various energy policy regimes of European countries marking technological transitions are analyzed in this context.

A comparison of Logistic and Harvey models for electricity consumption in New Zealand

Article Abstract:

Two forms of Logistic and Harvey models for forecasting electricity consumption in New Zealand are examined. The comparison using their effectiveness in fitting to historical data and its forecasting accuracy is made and Harvey model resulted in betterment.

Analysis of US energy scenarios: meta-scenarios, pathways, and policy implications

Recent energy scenarios are reviewed here, from a planning and policy perspective. The scenarios are quantitatively compared with reference to energy usage and energy efficiency of the United States and the carbon content of fuels in 2020.
