Factors influencing teachers' attitudes toward personal use and school use of computers: New evidence from a developing nation

Article Abstract:

A study on the Arabization and empirical evaluation of two standard scales to assess Egyptian teachers' attitudes toward personal use and school use of computers is conducted. Results suggests a positive relationship between training and teachers' attitudes toward computers and the Ministry of Education is called upon to take the issue of in-service computer training seriously, as experienced teachers enhance successful implementation of computers.

Picking up the challenge: developing a methodology to enumerate and assess the needs of the street homeless population

Article Abstract:

An improved technique contributing to the first successful attempt in computing the street homeless community in Canada is highlighted. Values derived from this exercise, and further suggestions for their use in future enumerations are discussed.

A repeated observation approach for estimating the street homeless population
