How the aging network can work with business: An overnight success after thirty years

Article Abstract:

Old Americans are the fastest growing segment of Internet users and are huge purchasers of toys spending nearly $30 million a year on their grand children. The Atlanta Regional Commission, which is the Area on Aging in the Atlanta region, solicits new partners and partnerships with the business community in order to further its mission to improve the quality of life for older adults and their families.

New efforts are being made from many working in the field of aging, such as the gerontologists, helping to guide the business community to a more enlightened and a more fruitful relationship with older American. Gerontologist already are making a difference in the business world and finding the solutions for different challenges.
