The positive effectsE mentoring has on young adults during full time employment wherein they help to promote attachment to the labor force is presented. Mentors have the ability to increase labor market information and opportunities for young men and women and also give them guidance to improve their chances for employment.

Religion and vulnerability among low-risk adolescents

Article Abstract:

The influence of the religion and religious change, that influence the change in reducing the vulnerability of low-risk youth to drinking, drug use, delinquency, problems in school, and poor grades are investigated. The findings and the considerable variable influence of religion on youth are discussed.

Trends in environmental lead exposure and troubled youth, 1960-1995: an age-period-cohort-characteristic analysis

Article Abstract:

The relationship between gasoline lead exposure and increased youth violence and teenage pregnancy is examined. Nevin (2000) contends that the intelligence levels (IQs) of children born between 1960 and 1970 were adversely affected due to increased exposure to toxins from gasoline lead exposure.
