Innovation and learning during implementation: a comparison of user and manufacturer innovations

Article Abstract:

A comparison of user and manufacturer innovations are presented and the role of users in the innovation process and learning during implementation studied. The result of the study suggests that user innovation and learning during implementation are essential processes of technology implementation. The results also imply an existing design partnership between the manufacturers and users. Therefore, it is imperative that user innovation and learning during implementation be recognized as essential considerations in planning and management of the development process.

Learning and the new growth theories: policy dilemma

Article Abstract:

Research is presented concerning the interpretation and identification of the six steps which form the neoclassical growth theory. The conflicting implications for policy which result from the interpretation are discussed.

Do financial constraints hold back innovation and growth? Evidence on the role of public policy

Article Abstract:

Using evidence from Finland, it is established that pecuniary restraints do hamper innovation and growth. It is also shown that public policy can support capital markets.
