Job Insecurity and Crossover of Burnout in Married Couples

Article Abstract:

This paper is a research on the impact of the individual's job insecurity, brought about by downsizing, on the well being of other family members. The common result was a wearing out of resources and a feeling of exhaustion but impact was different between men and their spouses except with respect to women managers.

Sex proportion and performance evaluation among high-ranking military officers

Article Abstract:

A study of 3,014 high ranking officers in the Israeli Defense Forces found that women officers had poorer performance evaluations when they were token members of their units but had higher performance evaluations when they outnumbered the men in their units.

Job satisfaction: a meta-analysis of stabilities

Article Abstract:

This is a reveiw of the major causes of job satisfaction which were said to be either working conditions or personal dispositions. It looks into dispositions that indirectly affect job satisfaction via selection and self-selection process.
