Learning and stakeholder participation in transition processes towards sustainability: methodological considerations

Article Abstract:

The proactive approach of systems change, which involves learning and stakeholder participation towards attaining sustainability in the wake of global climatic changes, is discussed. Methodological suggestions are given for improving the learning effect of transition management while analyzing policy regimes in relation to it.

Give peas a chance: transformations in food consumption and production systems

Article Abstract:

The production and cosumption activities of frozen peas in UK are analyzed to determine the social and environmental sustainability of industrialized food systems. The need for alternative methods to technological transformations is emphasized in this context. Graphical representations of the food system are also presented.
