Lessons from the White House

Article Abstract:

It is remarkable how many people ruin their lives for sex. The report of Kenneth Starr delivered to Congress aptly illustrates the nation's confusion about sexuality and demonstrates how poorly Americans model adult sexual health to their children. The scandal involving Pres Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky could have been an opportunity for a new national dialogue on healthy adult sexuality. Perhaps this is too much to hope for. After all, the White House has been rendered impotent regarding issues such as reproductive health care, adolescents' sexual rights and HIV prevention.

Article Abstract:

Parry People Movers is a UK company which has developed an electric tram geared to urban environments. The company was set up by John Parry, the engineer who developed the tram. There are a number of prototypes in use and a contract for six trams is expected from Swansea City Council. The company achieved break even point in 1995 following four years when it reported a loss. Demand for the product could be strong since the potential market is very large.
