Models for Organizing Health Services and Implications of Legislative Proposals

Article Abstract:

The article, originally published in the journal in 1972 and currently available in online-only format, defines and describes three models for the implementation of public health policy. These are the professional or physician-driven model, the central planning model, and the competitive health maintenance organization model.
