Introduction: conflict in organizations

Article Abstract:

The debate among conflict researchers about whether conflict is inherently harmful is discussed. Dean Tjosvold believes that task conflict is needed for effective organizational functioning. Carsten K.W. De Dreu, on the other hand, believes that conflict is always detrimental, citing evidence that negative effects outweigh its positive effects.

Article Abstract:

A study examining the relationships between job stressors, negative affectivity, and counterproductive work behavior (CWB), is presented. The effects of workplace inclivity on employees satisfaction and CWB, is also discussed.

Cross-national job stress: a quantitative and qualitative study

Regressional analysis is used to examine the impact of job stress on employee behavior, including conflicts. American and Chinese organizations are taken for the study.
