Parenting in the workplace: Child care options for consideration

The parenting in the workplace (PIW) child care options is introduced and such arrangements within the context of changing work and family life relationships and boundaries are considered. It has helped employers and employees assess the potential of PIW as viable child care arrangements within their workplaces.

Work life balance: What do you mean, the ethical ideology underpinning appropriate application

Article Abstract:

The definitions of work life balance (WLB) are categorized according to a framework of ethical ideologies. It is suggested that definitions based on a situation offer an opportunity to explore factors that contribute to attainment of WLB for particular groups of people.

Asian American managers: an impression gap?: An investigation of impresion management and supervisor-subordinate relationships

The Asian culture patterns that leads to Asian Americans to use different impression management behaviors is examined. A comparison of impression management behavior by Asian American managers and European American managers is made.
