Readying children for the future
Article Abstract:
Curricular changes should be implemented to make children ready to face the challenges of adulthood. Key elements in child education should incorporate preparations for work, transmission of cultural knowledge and preparation for effective citizenship. Children's education should be holistic and systematic if it is to work and balance between technical, social and other skills should be considered.
