Redistributing wealth to families: The advantages of the MYRIADE model

Article Abstract:

The study aims to shed light on the main characteristics of the French system for redistributing wealth to families through tax revenues and social transfers. The MYRIADE microsimulation model is used which covers most of the redistribution system, though it is limited to monetary flows such as family benefits, housing allowances, minimum social welfare payments, income tax and tax on furnished accommodation.

Cost-benefit analysis in social care for elderly people

Article Abstract:

A research made from the Comity of Lille Employment Area with cooperation of the Caisse Primaire d'Assurance Maladie de Lille is presented that offers some answers on better forms of care for the different partners concerned. Ceteris paribus, cultural activities in a group or at home versus others appear to produce more interest for elderly, professional caregivers, and the rest of society.

Evaluation of quality in social care: Aplus program

Article Abstract:

A software program is presented to help social services evaluate on both individual and group levels. Automatic dashboard results of the program with special emphasis on the main qualities social work would usually present reciprocity and social competence, client ability development, and social care treatment components.
