Eija-Riitta Eklof-Berliner-Mauer's love for the Berlin Wall that is a constructed object and suggests human intervention is a part of the libidinal equation. There is increasing evidence that the wider culture is recognizing the claim of existential rights for entities previously dismissed as mere objects.

The exit from a Westphalian framing of political space and the emergence of a transnational Islamic public

The article describes the development of a transnational Islamic public due to struggles for justice and dignity and globalization process supporting Islamic responses, also nurtured by post-Westphalian transformations of political citizenship.

Whose history? Whose justice?

Article Abstract:

An opinion that Nancy Fraser's approach to the public sphere theory is partial is presented. It is suggested that the theory of justice has to be in consideration with the frame of the nation-state and the modernist theories of history.
