Tales of a successful memeplex: how the water wars in the everglades were changed into a comprehensive plan

Article Abstract:

The memetics perspective was used for describing the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP), which was formed to create a viable and innovative approach to tackle the drying-up problem faced by Florida Everglades. The success of the CERP could be attributed to the different political parties who joined forces to fight for a common goal, simplicity of the memeplex, consensus among the scientists and the existing social environment.
