Telling and listening to stories: creating a wisdom environment for older people

The effectiveness and usefulness of life stories in the context of interventions in gerontology is highlighted. The wisdom, which discovers personal meaning in life and accessible within the story, is very useful to create a wisdom environment for older people.

What is a good story?

The main features of a good story include fictional, disinformation and deliberately deceptive properties. A story is different from narratives, because narratives are integral feature of experience.
