Terrorism, democracy and the Jews of Argentina

Article Abstract:

Jews in Argentina are seeking justice for the 1994 bombing of the Argentine Jewish Mutual Agency that killed 99 people. The government's inability to solve the case suggests an official policy of assistance to the killers through inaction. Argentina has a long history of ties to fascist regimes, including the Nazis. Though the nation returned to democracy in 1983, no effective action has been taken to right the human rights abuses of the past or prevent more from occurring in the present and future.
